This is where we welcome Mutual Funds. Mutual Funds simply put is when a large number of people pool together money and a manager or a company invests their money(either in stocks or bonds) and then the profits are shared according to the contributions of each indvidual

This company has six funds; Umoja Fund,Wekeza Maisha Fund,Watoto Fund,Jikimu Fund ,Liquid Fund and Bond Fund

These funds differ according to the goals of the investor some will be briefly discussed as follows .

Umoja Fund:It is a fairly liquid Fund, as units can be redeemed whenever desired. Money will be received within 10 working days of the redemption request.The fund has been offering good returns ranging from 10% per year to 20%per year.In this fund one can maintain a close watch on its performance and if dissatisfied with the progress can chose to disinvest in the fund.
The minimum amount of investment is 10pieces.Estimate price per piece is around 760tzs

Wekeza Maisha Fund:This is a 10 year plan.The minimum amount of investment of 1,000,000tzs however one may choose to have a regular contribution of 8340tzs per month.This fund comes with an advantage of a life insurance incase of any disabilty.The money cant be withdrawn till 5 years have passed.There is no limit of the maximum amount to be invested.
